How long will it take?
Give us about 7-10 days to book the truck. Trucks usually run about 600 miles a day depending on the distance/region of the country. On average, the process takes about 2 weeks. We strive to transport it as soon as possible. Because of weather conditions and the market demand we are unable to guarantee any specific length of time.
Do you offer Door-to-Door Services?
We offer Door-To-Door services. Terminals are drop off points between major cities, so by the time it gets to you your vehicle may have been on 5-10 trucks. Door-to-Door services is the best option because the vehicle is picked up and delivered on one truck at all times.
Is my car covered under insurance?
Yes, every vehicle is covered with at least $1,000,000 liability and $250,000 cargo insurance. Insurance does not cover damage caused by weather or road conditions so we recommend checking with your insurance provider to get temporary transport insurance.
What kind of damage is my car at risk for?
Depending on whether it is transported on an open trailer or an enclosed trailer your car may be at risk. If it is loaded on an double-decker open trailer it is susceptible to fluid leaks; primarily in the winter road & weather conditions may be a concern. These things are not covered by the truck's insurance.
How many other cars will be on the trailer with mine?
It depends; open transports on average have the capacity of about 6/7 with a maximum of 10 vehicles. Enclosed transports usually have 5/6 vehicles at one time.
Can I specify the loading position on the trailer?
Yes and No. Depending on the company they may charge extra to specify the position (whether it be top or bottom) on the trailer. It depends on the order of the pick-up and order of the delivery.
Where is the vehicle picked up and delivered?
If the vehicle is located where a full-size semi can’t make the corners they may have to arrange to meet you elsewhere, such as a local Wal-Mart or side street surrounding the residential neighborhood.
Can I have personal property in the vehicle?
According to our contract and also federal law no personal property is allowed in the vehicle.
Can you arrange third-party inspections?
Yes we are affiliated with a third-party inspection services that are networked with many inspectors around the country.
Is the multiple vehicle discounts?
Yes to a point. It depends on if we can book all of the cars with the same truck. Also it depends on how many cars will fit on the truck. The price will be determined based on the number of vehicles on the trailer.
How can I tell new damage from old damage?
When the driver arrives to pick the car up, they will fill out a condition report on the vehicle. When it is delivered you will then have to sign off on that condition report. Be sure to have a camera on hand to document condition on the vehicle.
What is your damage claim record?
In the past 4 years of being in business we have only had 1 damage claim which was less than $2000.
How does your payment structure work?
As soon as your vehicle is picked up we will charge a $250 deposit to your Visa or MasterCard. Then the remaining balance will be due to the driver when he/she delivers your car.
Do you offer a discount for vehicle trades (same locations)?
Yes if we can load them on the same truck.
Do you have a inoperable vehicle fee?
Yes if it working brakes but doesn’t run it is an additional $150. If it does not have working brakes and does not run it is an additional $250.
What do you consider to be an inoperable vehicle?
Anything that cannot be safely driven on or off the trailer under its own power.
Can I cover my vehicle during transport with a car cover?
Only on enclosed. We don’t recommend covering your car if you use an open trailer. If a cover is placed over a vehicle traveling on average of 70 mph that cover will be just flapping against the car causing more damage to the paint than it’s worth.
