Teeter Transport, Inc. was founded in October 2002 by Jerry and Jennifer Teeter. In December 2002, a three-car truck and trailer was purchased, and their doors opened. Within a few weeks, they were fortunate enough to make contacts at both auto auctions in Des Moines, Iowa, and they began hauling inbound repossessed vehicles and lease turn-ins. Within six months, they upgraded to a six-car semi which could haul twice the vehicles. Shortly after their one-year anniversary, they hired their first full-time driver and expanded their market to include the Kansas City auctions. In August 2004, Jerry started seeing a high demand from consumers buying cars on the Internet through eBay and other sites. He realized that he could tap into this market by getting his brokers’ license and utilizing other drivers all over the country. He went to driving part-time so he could focus on this new division of their transport company. They began advertising in two national publications: Autabuy Magazine and Deals on Wheels. Today, Teeter Auto Transport ships over 8,000 cars per year all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. We specialize in shipping luxury, exotic, muscle, and classic cars. Our network includes open and enclosed transporters for domestic hauling and ocean vessels and air freight for oversee's shipments. One of our motto's include, "If its too difficult for everyone else, its just right for us."
